24.9.2020 - Strategy Kultura.PIKA shapes the future of our culture!
Strategy Kultura.PIKA shapes the future of our culture!
In order to overcome the diversity of their strategic interests, the municipalities of Piran, Izola, Koper and Ankaran (so-called PIKA) prepared and supported the first Strategic Statement on Culture.PIKA. This is not yet an exhaustive strategy, but rather the result of the first steps towards cooperation and the result of previous consultations. Nevertheless, this statement or letter of intent is also the starting point for the preparation and adoption of a comprehensive Culture Strategy PIKA 2030.
The municipalities of Piran, Izola, Koper and Ankaran, united under the acronym P.I.K.A., have begun to prepare a long-term Istrian cultural strategy. Our team has already tackled it at the first meeting, and on September 30 we are organizing a workshop to which we invite everyone who wants to co-create the vision of the strategy and its goals.

Dr. Chris Baldwin, the creative director of PI2025, who, to our great joy, joined us live took this opportunity to present an exceptional artistic and cultural program, which we, together with around 50 local artists and cultural operators, have been tirelessly upgrading and improving during recent months.

The third Tlakovec has laid!
At the last Tlakovec workshop, the participants learned about the effective planning of project costs and expenses in the application process of the ECoC and let themselves be inspired by ideas on sustainable planning of cultural and artistic projects. We would like to thank Andras Suli, an expert in the field of financial planning, and Lucy Latham, an expert in culture and climate change, for very interesting days.
